I read a story that resonated deeply within me. It was about an exceptional conductor who didn’t believe in his talent. Voices inside his head discounted his natural talent and genius. Prior to his performance, he would stand up in his dressing room and shout, “The big me wants to come out! Let the big me out now!” This story resonates within me because it was clear he was experiencing imposter syndrome. Essentially, there is a "big me" within each and every one of us.
